Where the money leaks

01

The product is there, but search can't find it

Site search can't find a product that is sitting in the warehouse.

02

Your ads can't see the purchases

The tag is installed, yet the numbers don't match your real orders.

03

Some of your visitors see an empty space

A blocker cuts part of the page, and the visitor leaves with nothing.

Questions and answers

What does running Google Ads include?

We check Google Ads, Merchant Center, the site, the analytics and the conversion tracking. For a store we build the product feed or put it in order, clear up rejected products and keep the data on the site and in Merchant Center matching.

We build a campaign structure that fits: Search, Shopping, Performance Max and remarketing. We set the goals, budgets, locations, schedule and bidding strategies. We go through the search terms regularly, add negative keywords and switch off spend that isn't producing orders.

The weekly report shows spend, conversions, cost per result, revenue where the data is reliable, and a list of the changes we made.

What is a product feed and why does it need work?

A product feed is the file or data stream that carries the site's catalogue into Google Merchant Center. It holds product titles, descriptions, prices, availability, links, images, brand, GTIN and categories.

If the price or availability in the feed differs from the site, if required attributes are missing, if the currency is wrong or an image doesn't meet the requirements, the product is rejected or shown less often. Raising the bid does not fix wrong data.

We build the feed from the store's export, clean up titles and categories, clear the diagnostics errors and get the eligible products back into impressions. The feed needs constant attention: the catalogue, the prices and the supplier's export all change after launch.

Which campaign types do you run?

Search shows a text ad against a user's query. It suits demand that already exists, when someone is looking for a specific product or service.

Shopping shows a product card with a photo and a price right in Google's results. The result here depends directly on the quality of the feed and how competitive the offer is.

Performance Max uses several of Google's placements and distributes impressions automatically. It needs correct conversions and enough data; without those the system can spend budget on actions that don't lead to sales.

Remarketing brings back visitors who were on the site but didn't finish the purchase. We pick the set of campaigns to fit the job — running every type at once isn't compulsory.

Do you help unblock Google Ads and Merchant Center?

Yes. First we go through the notifications, the Merchant Center diagnostics, the site and the product feed. We check that prices and availability match, along with the seller's contact details, payment, delivery, returns, legal information and Google's other requirements.

We fix the mismatches we find and submit the account for review. If the cause isn't named outright, we don't try to guess it with a single edit: we work through the related site and feed requirements one by one.

Before we start we tell you whether we see real grounds for a fix. The decision to reinstate is Google's, so nobody can promise an unblock or an exact timeline.

What does management cost and who owns the accounts?

Management costs from $400 a month per channel. The client pays Google directly for the ad budget from their own card, and it isn't part of what they pay us.

Google Ads, Merchant Center, GA4, Google Tag Manager and the related properties are created on the client's side or handed over to their full control. We work through the access we're given; when the work ends, the accounts and the data they've accumulated stay with the owner.

For an online store, basic product feed work is part of management. Building a complex integration, rescuing a non-standard export or reworking a large part of the site is quoted separately and agreed before we do it.

Why might the ad data not match your orders?

Google Ads and your order system count different things. Advertising uses an attribution window and can credit an order after several visits, while a CRM shows the moment the order was created. Cancellations, returns and unpaid cash-on-delivery orders can also stay counted as ad conversions if the status is never sent back.

Gaps are caused by a missing tag on the order confirmation page, an event firing twice when the page is refreshed, cookies declined, ad blockers, switching between devices, different time zones and errors in the value or currency being sent.

We check the tags through GTM and GA4, compare order IDs and totals and, where possible, set up tracking of confirmed conversions. A small difference is fine; an unexplained systematic gap has to be fixed before optimising campaigns.

When can the result be judged?

First we make sure the ads are receiving the right conversions and aren't learning on technical errors. After launch the system needs time to collect queries, let the bidding strategy work and get through the first round of negative keywords. The first two weeks give data to tune with, but they don't always reflect a settled result.

Usually we make the first full assessment after three or four weeks, or once enough orders have accumulated. For a small budget or rare, expensive purchases that period can be longer.

When we assess it we look beyond the number of conversions in the account: confirmed orders, revenue, margin and returns. Obviously irrelevant queries and technical errors we fix straight away, without waiting for the end of the month.

What can't you guarantee?

Nobody can guarantee a particular ROAS, sales volume, ad position or cost per order in advance. The auction shifts, competitors adjust their bids and prices, demand depends on the season, and the sale itself also depends on the site, stock, delivery and how the order desk works.

Nobody can guarantee that Google Ads or Merchant Center will be unblocked: the final decision is Google's. The platform can also re-review products, change its requirements or restrict impressions after launch.

What we do guarantee is transparent work within the agreed scope: correct setup, regular review of search terms and the feed, reporting you can read, and an honest verdict when further spending isn't backed by the project's economics.
